How Are We Choosing to Live Our Lives?

Over the last few years I have been wrestling with the idea of doctrine. What does it mean? In what areas of my life do I live by a certain doctrine? Is the doctrine I live by right or wrong? Our doctrine must be aligned with the canon of scripture and not an idea that has been canonized.
